winter 2023 Exhibition in Rome, Italy

I am Amir Sharifi, and I represent the lovingly made art produced in my country by organizing exhibitions and artistic events for Iranian artists around the globe. And that is solely Iranian artwork created by Iranian artists.
With all the disregard they encounter, artists who have been clamoring for assistance and recognition for years are still defiantly battling against it and are responsible for preserving Iranian art for all time. You are my homeland’s children, inseparable from it like Iran’s soil, and I kiss your hands.
After multiple delays, the 2023 winter exhibition ultimately took place. An exhibition that we worked hard to plan. As a journalist, an artist, and the publisher of an art magazine, I made the decision to bring the splendor of my nation’s art to the notice of the entire globe. Rome was the location this time. This time, the lovely country of Italy and its kind people helped me on my adventure. I want you to know that I hold you dearly in my heart and soul, and that is why I made such a strong and patriotic presentation at this exhibition.

An Exhibition with Honorable Visitors
In order to bring the voices of my fellow countrymen to the ears of the world, Ilian Rachov, a well-known Italian artist and prominent Versace brand designer, served as my friend and traveling companion. He also organized other artistic events with similar backgrounds.
Dear Chiara, you are a kind friend and a great organizer. I appreciate all you did to make this event run smoothly.
I’d like to thank Teresa Zurlo, manager of the Area Contesa Art Gallery, for crafting a lovely speech on my behalf for the audience on the opening day.
We appreciate Tina Zurlo’s efforts before our display and the thoughtful positioning of the artists’ pieces.
Thank you very much, Mr. Borghese. With his amazing speech about Iran, one of the greatest and most eminent art professors in Italy declared his support for Iranian art.
Great Mario, my darling Mario Salvi! We appreciate your continued encouragement and support for Iran.
We are appreciative to all our cherished friends and guests who did not abandon us during the brief event and honored us with their vibrant presence.
Thanks to a vibrant and fervent Italy.
And a particular thanks to the suffering and compassionate artists who sent us their striking artworks to accompany us on this voyage. Despite everything, they remained committed to Iran and Iranian art.
We were honored that a ring, created by an Iranian artisan, was presented at the winter exhibition as a tribute to the esteemed Italian journalist Mrs. Barbara Castellani.
We intend to feature these artists’ works that were on display in the show in this issue of the quarterly.
